Ellie

Veterinary Assistant

Ellie has been with Our Pet’s Vet since July 2021 and has been in the field since early 2019. In her free time, she likes to do crafty things, garden, play tabletop games with friends, and play video games. Ellie has 2 rescue terrier mixes, Trico and Chikis, and her Turkish Angora, Ori.

Bertha

Veterinary Assistant

Bertha has been with Our Pet’s Vet since February 2021 and has been in the field since early 2016. She grew up in Orange County and enjoys spending time with her loved ones. Bertha and her husband have 2 rescue dogs, Oz, the blind Pitbull, and Sasha the Siberian Husky.

Brooke

Customer Service Representative

Brooke, the welcoming face at Our Pet’s Vet, started her career in veterinary medicine in 2018 and has been with our team since 2023. Aside from being a client care specialist, Brooke has previous experience in doggy daycares, volunteering at a farm rescue, and home pet sitting. Brooke’s love for animals starts at home with her hyper little rescue pup, Max.

In between pet sitting gigs, Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors in nature and being an active member of her church. Brooke is also an extremely talented artist, her work can be seen in our exam rooms on the whiteboards!

Jessie

Registered Veterinary Technician

Jessie was born and raised in Orange County. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She earned her degree from Platt College and joined Our Pet’s Vet in 2026. She’s a local dog mom to two sweet senior pups-Parker (Jack Russell/Poodle mix) and Elway (Dachshund).

When she’s not caring for pets, you can find Jessie reading, crafting, or enjoying magical days at Disneyland with family and friends.

Summer

Veterinary Assistant

Summer is a Trabuco Canyon native! She started in veterinary medicine in 2018 when she discovered she wanted to make a difference in the lives of clients and their beloved pets. Summer joined Our Pet’s Vet in 2025. Summer has her own small little zoo at home, including a Great Pyrenees, a Weimaraner, two cats, two leopard geckos, and a full saltwater aquarium!

In her free time, Summer enjoys going to church, working out, hiking with her two dogs, playing Pokémon Go, and diving into her creative side with photography and singing.

Ariana

Veterinary Assistant

Ariana was born and raised in Southern California. She started her journey in veterinary medicine as an intern in 2020 while completing classes at OC Veterinary Assistant School. She joined Our Pet’s Vet in 2024. She currently lives in Ontario with her beloved son and her two cats, Kitty-Sweets and Whiskers.

Ariana focuses on spending time mainly outdoors with her son, but also enjoys a quiet evening playing with her kitties.

Angel

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Angel, also known as “Auntie,” is a native Yooper, born and raised in Upper Michigan. She started in veterinary medicine while living in Germany in 2011. She joined Our Pet’s Vet in 2022. Over the last decade, Angel has worked with both large and small animals and has now acquired a mini zoo of her own: Coach (an incredibly sweet black lab), Stacey (a wild little GSP), Pizza Cat and Coco (the feline gang), and Rusty (a piranha)!

Angel enjoys all things active and outdoors, including hitting the gym daily, taking the pups to the dog park or beach, and even chasing down the best food trucks in the area!

Joe

Registered Veterinary Technician

Joe grew up in rural Mojeska Canyon, surrounded by chickens, goats, horses, cats, dogs, and snakes. This helped him gain his strong sense of compassion for all types of animals in need. Joe joined Our Pet’s Vet in 2022, but has been in the veterinary field for 30 years and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2006. Joe has two amazing children and a pack of four rescue pups who are all adorable and unique chihuahua mixes!

In his free time, Joe enjoys walking the dogs, hiking and spending time with his children, friends, family, and his girlfriend.

Dr. Cathy Nguyen

Veterinarian

Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Orange County. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University in 2006 and graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at California Veterinary Specialists, where she gained valuable clinical and surgical skills. She returned home to Orange County after her internship and has been practicing here since 2014.

In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, finding good food to eat, photography, binge-watching shows, and spending time with her family. She lives in Irvine with her husband, 2 daughters, her dog, Zoe (miniature poodle mix), and her kitty, Figaro (domestic medium hair). Dr. Nguyen is excited to be leading the team at Our Pet’s Vet and looks forward to meeting you and providing compassionate care to your furry family members!
