Ellie

Veterinary Assistant

Ellie has been with Our Pet’s Vet since July 2021 and has been in the field since early 2019. In her free time, she likes to do crafty things, garden, play tabletop games with friends, and play video games. Ellie has 2 rescue terrier mixes, Trico and Chikis, and her Turkish Angora, Ori.

Bertha

Veterinary Assistant

Bertha has been with Our Pet’s Vet since February 2021 and has been in the field since early 2016. She grew up in Orange County and enjoys spending time with her loved ones. Bertha and her husband have 2 rescue dogs, Oz, the blind Pitbull, and Sasha the Siberian Husky.

Brooke

Customer Service Representative

Brooke is our newest addition and joined Our Pet’s Vet in May 2023.  She has been working with animals through dog walking, pet sitting, and a nonprofit rescue since 2018.  Brooke has a huge passion for both animals and people.  She spends her free time either serving at church or loving on her senior cat, Boots, and rescue pup, Max.

Angel

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Angel has been a part of the Our Pet’s Vet team since January 2022. She started her journey in veterinary medicine back in 2011 in Germany. She was born and raised in the upper peninsula of Michigan. (A.K.A native Yooper!) In her free time, Angel likes to be doing anything physically active and outdoors!

She also enjoys eating and trying new foods. She has a mini-zoo at home! She has 2 dogs, Coach and Honeybee, 3 cats, Mr. Stinks, Wallace, Coco, and multiple fish!

Joe

Registered Veterinary Technician

Joe was born and lives here in Orange County. He has two beautiful children that light up his world. He has been working in veterinary medicine for the past 28 years. He obtained his Registered Veterinary Technician (R.V.T) license in 2006. When he is not working with fur babies, he enjoys hiking, camping, surfing, photography, and cooking.

One of the most important things to him is forming relationships and memories with people important to him and to serve people in need when he is able. He has 3 amazing dogs, which he absolutely loves to cherish.

Dr. Cathy Nguyen

Veterinarian

Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Orange County. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University in 2006 and graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at California Veterinary Specialists, where she gained valuable clinical and surgical skills. She returned home to Orange County after her internship and has been practicing here since 2014.

In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, finding good food to eat, photography, binge-watching shows, and spending time with her family. She lives in Irvine with her husband, 2 daughters, her dog, Zoe (miniature poodle mix), and her kitty, Figaro (domestic medium hair). Dr. Nguyen is excited to be leading the team at Our Pet’s Vet and looks forward to meeting you and providing compassionate care to your furry family members!
