Pet Laser Therapy in Lake Forest

When treating illnesses like muscular pain, pain from incisions, and wounds, Our Pet’s Vet employs laser therapy to speed up healing.

A non-invasive, drug-free treatment option is laser therapy. Arthritis and degenerative joint disease, chronic pain, spinal disc degeneration, wounds, surgical incisions, ear hematomas, muscular sprains and strains, fractures, and many more illnesses are commonly treated using laser therapy.

We use a K-Laser and a technique called photobiomodulation (PBM) treatment. Photons, or packets of light energy, are injected deeply into the tissue without causing any harm. As a result of this energy being taken by the cell, damaged or impaired cells now have more fuel or energy. Decreased inflammation, lessened pain, and quicker healing are the results of this increased ATP/energy production.

Every patient and disease requires a different set of treatment guidelines. Treatment lengths will differ. Laser therapy is a helpful adjunct therapy to other therapies and drugs. Throughout the procedure, your pet will experience a relaxing and pleasant warmth. After their initial therapy, they might feel better as the pain and inflammation are lessened. Due to the intricacy or severity of the underlying problem, it may take several treatments for some conditions before you see results.
